Data protection
The exercise of the duty of information

Aldeco worries about the confidentiality of all personal information it encounters in its commercial activity, namely that of customers, employees, partners and others.
For that reason, and in compliance with the legal terms that apply to this matter, particularly the “general data protection regulation”, it will adopt all the necessary procedures to assure that the personal data protection is enforced and will create mechanisms to guarantee that the holders of such rights can uphold them.

With such an aim in mind, it has created, internally, a procedure that protects its employees, clients and partners.
Usually, the personal information collected by Aldeco is limited to name, address, telephone number, e-mail and VAT. Nonetheless, other necessary data can be requested in order to ensure the full and correct business operation and its relationship with the bearers of this information (being that this data is strictly used in the scope of the contractual relations previously agreed between the parties).
The personal information gathered by Aldeco will be maintained for a period of 12 years, considering the necessity to dispose of organized accounting and applicable legal deadlines.
Through the express consent of the data holder, we can use the contacts supplied for marketing and publicity purposes, in particular for our newsletter and other messages with promotional content.
To safeguard the protection and correct use of data, Aldeco applies the ensuing fundamental principles in the management and treatment of personal information: safety, minimization and quality of data, responsibility and transparency.

At any given moment, you may exercise the right to access your personal information, alter it, request deletion (or any related data), through a written statement, directly to the following e-mail address: qualidade@aldeco.pt or by registered letter to the attention of the Quality department of Aldeco (duly substantiated).

The National Commission of Data Protection (CNPD) is the competent administrative authority, at a national level, to receive claims and to inspect and uphold the full enforcement of the legal norms with regard to the protection of personal information.
Anyone can place a plaint with the CNPD if it is considered that its personal data is being misused.
